A Little Bit of Zing...

Yellow is able to add so much personality to a room.  All you need is a touch of the color and BAM - you just added a little touch of happiness!  A jar full of lemons or the fun yellow handbag will do the trick.
Bear with me - I am trying to figure out the odds and ins of the new blogger format.

Happy weekend (we are having a beaut here!)!...

The addition of anything "warm" is very pleasing to me. I am extremely cold natured which is why I take a hoodie and socks with me to the movie theater! Sitting in the sun or watching the sun beams dance across a room will pretty much always make me happy. I am not sure if yellow is my best color, but you better believe that I'll try to pull off those yellow shoes, skinny jeans or a fun yellow handbag this season! And any client who has ever worked with me certainly knows how I stress choosing "warm" colors over "cool" ones. I guess it all goes back to trying to balance out that blood temperature?!

Happy Wednesday!...

Yellow - is it the most refreshing color out there? It is, in fact, very seasonal and I am almost certain I cannot stop thinking of it lately because I feel like the sun is sitting right next to me with our record-breaking temperatures in Texas. Regardless, I do believe it can be unseasonably incorporated into a room and have beaming effects (for lack of a better word :)). It is more often than not a warm color - or maybe that is how I prefer it is used. It is a happy color and I have often used subtle tones of it throughout houses on the walls. I think it is an amazing neutral for common use areas when it is done in the correct hue. It is also a wonderful color to use as a popping accent sparingly.

Have a bright & sunny Thursday!...
