Sorry for the post delay - I am just back from a magical fall New York City trip and my schedule has been delayed. It was well worth it!
Today I am featuring interior doors and the ability one has to achieve a dramatic impact by focusing on the detail(s) of interior doors. This could happen with a simple coat of paint in a bold or subtle color that ties into the scheme of the room, with some sort of upholstery such as a zebra skin or a leather with nail trim and even a different type of door altogether that will still act as a divider in a passage way, yet gives the impact that normally would need to be achieved through accessories or art. It is the perfect, bold way to make a statement with the space of a standard door making the impact in the height. So, you can either be safe (a.k.a. boring - but old faithful) and paint the interior doors the same color as all the woodwork throughout or if you are feeling a bit adventurous try one of the above examples. I say go against the grain and add the contrast! Fun stuff!
Happy weekend!...
