Chalk It Up...

Chalk board paint is a fun, inexpensive option for playrooms or areas in the kitchen. Personally, I loathe dust so much that the thought of it drives me nutty, but I love the function of the product and of course then you never care if someone writes all over the walls! If I were doing a playroom I think the chalk board paint on the walls with a fun, whimsical wallpaper on the ceiling would be dreamy. The kiddos could just let it rip! Oh - how delish do the cookies on the menu image look!!!

Happy Wednesday everyone!...

We are having perfect weather in Texas for patio dining which leads me to ivy covered walls. I love the effect the green has on the facade of a building. I love the natural growth of it and I especially enjoy planting it and watching it grow through the seasons and years. Although it is not suggested to be used on older brick facades because of mortar issues I have it growing on my wall - I am terribly hard headed. It is low maintenance with high impact, which is perfect for a green thumb like me ;) Ivy is a wonderful solution for boring fences, too!

Happy Tuesday to all!...

I am such a dog person it is really a surprise that I only have one. I adore them and the unconditional love they give and the happiness that encompasses their personalities. They are so loving and quick to forgive AND forget. I believe that everyone needs at least one dog in their life to experience such a special bond.

Happy Tuesday to all!...
