Embroidered linens - yes pleeez! It flat out never goes out of style and they are beautiful. I love incorporating a crazy wild color or sticking with the safer subdued shades. You pretty much are never going to show me a monogrammed bedspread or sham that I do not like. They just finish a bedroom. I am toying with some purple ones right now. Stay tuned...

Banquets in the kitchen are great, functional pieces for families. I am not sure how I feel about them because every time I look at one the first thing that comes to my mind is how can I escape to the restroom easily fifteen times during dinner? I feel a sense of claustrophobia, but that is just me:) In a small space banquets are the perfect solution, and even better if the space allows you to make one that is spacious and open. They are especially wonderful if you have a slew of kids in which case I would laminate a cool fabric and just wipe it down after each meal!

And I could not be happier! You could say I'm a fan. I love the cool nights, the new fresh outfits, the flowers, the green everywhere, the April showers, the bird songs, the outdoor weddings and the weather! Not so much the pollen and allergies but it is all worth it to watch all the new beginnings. What an amazing season.

Green - love it. Always have and always will. It is such a cheerful color that is very reminiscent of nature. There are so many wonderful shades of it and a little bit can go a long way. Plush, textured, patterned, graphic - lots of options. St. Patrick's Day is the perfect time to consider adding a spash of green to schemes. It is somewhat underused, and therefore a bit unexpected, which is nice.
